Just spotted that the ref for the United game is Riley...United WILL get a penalty today as this ref has given them 9 in 15 games reffed at Old Trafford.

I am an Arsenal fan. Drawing optimism from last two games - we seem to have learnt how to win when playing crap, as opposed to last season when we often dominated but failed to win.

Also if i remember correctly United drew their first game last season against a mediocre team, so i wouldnt read anything into Saturdays result.

I think its a good signing - a solid no nonsense defender - just what we need. Arsenal need a couple of 'non Arsenal' type players eg a Roy Keane style nasty midfielder.
