Also hearing the Grooms are getting “big lip” from the security
Not sure if that will help the situation?

Give me one reason why a groom would stab a horse? Don’t want to hear the other side! No answer would be suffice.

Situation in PE does not appear good. .
Not sure if racing bodies are getting involved but this could become a wild west show based on the pics from SP.

I think we need full story.
Was it an accident or did he do it deliberately?

Dave you are never going to get the truth because the truth will result in a dismissal. I read on SP someone from the grooms association trying to say it was a mistake but my deciphering skills are not the greatest lol. Perhaps the union man should ask how his ex members from the Ormond Ferraris yard feel about standing up for your colleagues.

.......cut and stab are two completely different actions....clarity please....if the latter then deliberate......SAGA must be SA Grooms Ass......and in SP tell why the groom had the scissors and what he was supposed to be doing with them
...if he slipped up and cut an ear.....oops...an accident..... .

.......so a horse gets nervy about having ears trimmed with a scissors.....groom gets gatvol about its behavior and decides to teach it a lesson....it happens in stables daily.....smacking kicking punching janking bridals ripping mouths dislodging teeth.....the problem is that not all men are horsemen.....

From the Sporting Post
The Port Elizabeth High Court granted an urgent interdict on Wednesday against striking Grooms at Fairview.
Following a week of trauma and intimidation, leading Port Elizabeth trainer Yvette Bremner of Dippin Blu Racing went to the High Court in a desperate move to restore order and secure the safety of her horses and personnel.
The court has, amongst other conditions, restrained the respondents from preventing access and entry to Ms Bremner’s stable premises by her and her staff.
Furthermore, the court ordered that Ms Bremner and her staff not be prevented from caring for, training, and racing her horses, as and when they chose.
It also prevents the respondents from accessing the Bremner yard, or even threatening to enter the premises, without prior consent, and also from intimidating and threatening staff.
In a seperate devlopment today, it has also been brought to the Sporting Post’s attention that SAGA, who posted a comment on this site recently on the thread of the unfolding sequence of events at Fairview, does not represent the National Grooms Association and the contents of the comment are thus those of the individual poster.
The National Grooms Association is completely independent of SAGA.
