Guys guys guys ..... horses makes fools of us .... clearly coming of a rest she will probably need the outing and i will always caution anybody also when horse returning from a rest that the horse will need it. Most, almost all, horses do , even if they working up a storm back home.
You get workhorses and you get racehorses. Just an example , we had a horse called San Vicenzo few years back .... he had no early pace in a race .... won 5 races from way way back over 1600 -1800m ....but .... at home nothing was quicker than him over 400m speed workouts. Anything who could just slightly keep up with him in 400m was almost a sure thing over a 1000m race .
Plenty others work unbelievable and then they make you look stupid on raceday ...
And others show absolutely nothing in work but also makes you look stupid on raceday....
Clearly this horse showed ability before but never brought it to the track and now still a little undercook coming from a rest she caught everyone from trainer groom stablecat and leadhorse by surprise to win at huge odds with noone making a cent involved with the horse from betting.

.....there are some shrewd punters in that ownership.....and they also let it slip.....when one like I always do ....floats the goodie with 2nd and 3rd fav with field for cover....just in case there is a spook....then one can be happy with the result.....

Last edit: 5 years 7 months ago by Muhtiman. Reason: add the field
