Karma wrote: Follow The Star.... Looks like she is still learning and possibly at the short end of her range, but wow, that turn of foot at the finish was impressive... I have a feeling we could be seeing this one when the features arrive ;)

Carded to run on Sat and going over an extra 200m... Imo, 2000-2400 will probably be where it is best, but 1800 shouldn't be a problem... Watch this space ;) I really think this is a decent one :)

Bob, could you maybe post Follow the Stars last run.... Amd if possible Queen Supreme... I didn't get a chance to see the QS race, so would like to catch up. Thanks a mil.

From the Features on Saturday at the Big T (with my ratings):

Fillies: Gin Fizz (108) showed that she needs this type of trip and ran well above her rating, interesting to see where she goes from here; Sidonie (103) not disgraced along with stable mate Spiritofthegrove (105); Bullsade (101) another one running well above her rating and could pay to follow when back in a handicap

Colts & Geldings: Excellent run by Chijmes (118) and the 3yr olds also ran above their ratings

Well bred individual who cost a fortune, looks a racehorse with a future. Was given a barrier trial and a nice run today.

Carded to race at Durbanville on Wednesday. Get on boys!

It would be appreciated if anyone would add any selections from analysing the days racing, to this topic for future races.
Comments would also be appreciated as to why an horse as "caught the eye". although in Sweet Coetzee selection SEVILLE it is pretty well clear as to why it should be backed next time.

anyone selecting any horse, if you could also highlight the name of the horse in CAPITALS as it would help in seeing what the selection is.
Seville running tomorrow.

durbanville
r1 FREEDOM SEEKER- ran on well from the back, further to suit.

R2 SILVER TIARA from widest draw, ran out back when making run was forced to switch and came with a good looking run

R4 MORSE ran wide and forced wider by eventual winner AZORES. should win a race before long

R8 PUREST BLISS come with a late run, 1400 would be better.

Thoughts on these 4 anyone?

R1 FREEDOM SEEKER
R7 MORSE
