Day two could be family day ?

After a wonderful day one it’s time for the big guns, where the Gosden/Dettori team are ready to fire again.

I am sure we are aware that LAH TI DAR ( Dubawi - Dar Re Mi ) is hot fav to win the second race and take some limelight away from young brother TOO DARN HOT ( Dubawi - Dar Re Mi ) in the Dante.

I am sure the punters will be singing lah ti dar, dar re mi, if the family arrives.

Make no mistake if the superstar Too Darn Hot is to beat a star studded field it could put a slight question mark on the 1/3 on O’Brien dominating the Derby.
It’s still not confirmed that even if TDH does wins that it will go for the Derby, so it depends how the race will be run.

One thing for sure is that the Dante is a race not to be missed and might help solve or at least confirm if O’Brien needs to supplement the current fav Sir Dragonet to take on TDH .

If you like to get involved in ante-post markets, tomorrow is your last chance to put your money where your mouth is.

Good Punting

Really wanna see how US tripple crown winner American Pharoah's O'Brien colt Hong Kong does. Cost a cool million bucks too and is a half brother to Caravaggio. American Pharoah had an impressive winner over in Ireland Monarch of Egypt.
I'm gonna go E/W on Richard Hannon's Well Done Fox. Soldier's call was impressive last year and nearly took the Abbaye but giving weight away & back from a rest, I will not touch at the prices.
If TDH sees out the trip as per pedigree, he wins by a country mile, Japan being touted as heavily undercooked. Anthony Van Dycke did the Dewhurst form no harm on saturday

Morning Andrew and yes it will be good to see the well bred Hong Kong (million dollar baby) on the track under Ryan Moore,
James Doyle/ Charlie Appleby also have a well bred Dark Angel in the race.
When Comes Here ran a good second on debut and should be a race worth watching.

TDH beaten by Telecaster but he lost nothing in defeat IMO. Clearly not as effective over 10 furlong and it was his first start as a 3yo. Gosden says he will go to the St James Palace now @ Royal Ascot and he should win that.

Onto tomorrow

Race 1 - Lady Kermit 9/2, Lady Quickstep 33/1

Race 2 - Twist 'n Shake 28/10

This one comes out of the Maqsad form who @ 8/1 currently for the Oaks is a great bet as she looks a super good filly. Twist 'n Shake herself pushed Maqsad all the way to the line and came out and doddled her maiden. Should go well here.

Race 3 - Stradivarius 13/20 (add in multiples)

Ok final day and we have the other banker “Stradivarius” for Dettori/ Gosden team, might not be fully tuned, but if it runs unplaced someone is at the fiddle?

Just a recap on yesterday: Lah Ti Dar had to be hard ridden but fought on strongly when appeared beat.
As far as TDH, ran a great race and was probably in need of the run and the good news will not go for Derby, it was a good race and Telecaster might come into the equation, but the Irish Derby might be the better option.
Remember they both beat Surfman and Japan by a good few lengths so the form was solid.

Still need confirmation that Sir D will be supplemented but confident I am on the right one.

Incidentally the card is not bad today and the punters can finish on top with Twist and Shout, UAE Prince, Accomodate and Laafy all likely to go close .
