Think Captain's Legacy must be worth a bit E/W in the first. Made a big middle move in her last race (was hampered at the start and then went from nearly last to first in the space of a furlong before weakening in the closing stages). Today's shorter trip should suit and, with several newcomers in opposition, 12/1 looks far too big.

My fancies:

R2: RIVER THAMES (was strongly fancied on Met day but may not have stayed the distance)
R4: Je Ne Sais Quoi (has been running on strongly in both starts)

A nice place bet:

R8: HOPEFUL (have been following this for awhile and nicely handicapped - come down from a 78-58)

Current 1st race betting doesn't resemble the ante post at all, I'll wait to see them go to post.
