Angel's Breath bubble burst. No supreme winner on that.

C'mon Al Dancer!

Probably one less to worry about and all the best with Al but that Fakir can also run a bit.

Good morning all and just 2 weeks before the festival on 12th March.

Just an update, I now feel the best bet of the week is SIR EREC.
Having a look at the form we can see this is a top class flat horse, running just over 2 lengths to Stradivarius , then showing a wonderful rhythm when taking to hurdles and if you have taken the 18/10, 16/10 you will hopefully be in a strong position on Gold Cup day.
If a few of the other strong fancies arrive during the first 3 days, we could see EREC starting in the red .

Obviously have not forgotten about ALTIOR and barring accidents the 9/20 should come home lonely in the Champion Chase.

TIGER ROLL must be a strong fancy with its latest win and the cross country looks well within its stride at 5/2, on the way to a second National win 12/1.

The one that niggles me is BOUVEUR DAIR 2/1 in its quest for the champion hurdle treble, the race is a lot stronger this year with Apples Jade and possibly Laurina making sure it will be a real test for the current champ.

I still make PAISLEY PARK 22/10 a good bet for the Stayers.

The Mares race on day one gives us another potential banker with BENIE DES DIEUX 15/10 .

OK CORRAL 3/1 is also worth a punt on day one.

Note! there are many quality and open races over the 4 days, and with a bit luck STECK will be giving us some of his expert information from 5/1 to 100/1 shots if the wheels come off the hotties .

In summary : I have taken various win bets an ATC s with the following runners

BOUVEUR DAIR ***
BENIE DES DIEUX ****
OK CORRAL**
ALTIOR *****
TIGER ROLL**
PAISLEY PARK****
SIR EREC *****

Good Punting

How many days before an actual race at Cheltenham will there be some kind of pruning to give a reasonable idea of who is actually running in a specific race,or will it be only the evening before.

Just because it is the Gold Cup and my punter blood has to be sucked, i am going to give Might Bite another chance.
The trainer is also not sure what has gone wrong and he has tried a few options and feels he is a happier horse and working very well.
So a win on the bite around 18/1 will do me.
I wont take the ew as its either back to best or not.
At MOMF
I am glad you also agree with Sir Erec and Paisley Park and barring accidents this pair should start around evens .

Good punting

Ok have been having a few Bites over the last few weeks and appers to be back on song so here is hoping for a Mighty performance

This is definitely one for Scotia and the bottom line is not just backing the favs or what is at the top of the boards, its actually punting the horse that deserve to be favs
