The posture and attitude of the Lt Col leaves a lit to be desired! Does not resemble a soldier one bit.

Nothing surprises me in SA anymore, unfortunately. Most people just looking to fill their own boots...zero character and integrity.

Firstly ,I did not watch all of the insert, but what I did see, seemed to me that he (the Army rep) had Para Bat wings on his chest.Perhaps I am mistaken, but if that is the case then I have more chance of riding this year's July winner than the chance of this chap having ever participated in a Para Bat PT course or have jumped out of a airplane. That aside its a shocking situation that these noble animals can be subjected to such inhumane treatment,

an absolute disgrace, typical of this pathetic circus of an army. i did my time from 1979 to 1981. alec laird and alfie little were stablemasters and mark sham was a farrier. carl de vos was also there. and paul garlicki. rule was horses first then men then officers. we had four full time vets . the horses lacked for nothing. lost a few up north in contacts but generally the horses were treated wonderfully.
