I had 3 bets today. R2 Bletchley. R4 Ravarosa & R7 Harrison. Two of my bets won so I had a nice & profitable day.
Why complain & moan about this "SHITHOLE" if you are to stupid to find a winner. Rather dont bet. !!!!!

Ha ha ha there are plenty of stupids out there it seems judging on the payouts.

ARM of the year so far

So if it was up to you guys Kimberley gets shutdown? How will it affect the local economy and families of breadwinners in the racing industry ?
It's kinda rhetorical if you get my drift

Mydada I am not sure how long you have been around for. Perhaps I can enlighten, or remind you that this will not set a precedent if Kimberley gets closed. When Bloemfontein was closed by Phumelela, the resident trainers had a choice, go to Kimberley or do your own thing. It wasn't a problem then, why should it be a problem now. Relocate Kimberley trainers to the Vaal, offer a Monday half stakes program at the Vaal and Bobs your uncle. At least Kimberley trainers would then get more than 3 meetings a month - win win don't you think?

The cost of building additional wooden boxes ala Turffontein would soon be justified in the cost savings. From all accounts, the Vaal could do with an inflow of new meat.

Sure not many of Kimberley trainers will agree, its a sand track that they want
I just don't see your point in wanting the place closed

There will always be a need for sand racing. Most trainers at the Vaal are still upset about closing their track. I am a agent moving horses all over.I get calls daily from owners /trainers who spend a fortune on buying a horse that is just not good enough to compete on grass and who would like to try the sand to get some of their investment back. Some of this horses plays with the top horses on the sand..If you were a owner who spend a fortune on a horse, wont you
want to give that horse a second life by trying to compete to his /her ability,
