I like a few today .... thoughts:
R1: Imperial Quest the obvious one, but I won't be rushing to take odds-on about a horse that imo might be outpaced over 1200 ..... that said, the opposition look really moderate
R2: Bright Blessed Day imo very hard to beat, the van Vuuren runners to fight out the placings
R3: Mackbool deserved favorite imo, but odds rather skinny; Judd's Rocket tries a little further, as does Agent Kay and it could be what they both need; for me Belfry needs to do more
R4: Africa's Sky looks the value imo - last time out was taken out when making her run and had to come around them; Gottalottaluv obvious danger with Fragrant Miss, Written and Tigerlace.
R5: Pale Lilac another deserving favorite; just a bit worried that as a 3yr old filly she is giving a lot of weight away to an older mare like Flying Dream, who is a big danger imo; also Serendipity has come down 10 points in her last few runs and is weighted to be competitive
R6: The five runners in the betting look fairly closely matched; my top 3 would be Alssakhra, American Indian and Forafewdollarsmore
R7: Pillaroftheearth another who should benefit from a ratings drop and is my clear first choice from Like Astair; Manx Park and Great Shaka to fight out 3rd
R8: Competitive fillies and mares handicap; Nightmare at 12's looks good value, but imo there are not too many here without chances
R9: Carbon copy of R8 at a higher level; there's a few in here like Takingthepeace, Movie Show and Let it Flow who have not disgraced themselves in stronger company and any of them at their best will win this; Madam Secretary often thereabouts so has to be included in trifectas and quartets imo
R10 looks a nightmare so I'm staying out
Enjoy

Once one looked past Pale Lilac, the race was wide open - I looked at it, and then decided that from the draw and with the appy who has had 4 winners from 93 rides, I'd look elsewhere
