Longest Standing/Oldest Maiden in SA

So just curious, what is the Longest Standing/Oldest Maiden to race in SA? It currently looks like Dancing Rebel with the most runs at 50 without a win but probably not the oldest at age 4. Would be interested to hear about others.

My memory is finished, and giving me time(which probably won't help), but our friendly Sly will probably have stats... But I seem to remember a 76 run maiden... But like i said, whipskey has taken its toll.....

Someone must remember that Maiden - Pumkin maybe or something like that - Trained by Buddy Maroun - She ran so many seconds and earned major stakes - I remember when she finally won - I think at Turffontein - the crowd cheered and the commentator had a field day - I know she had many starts and sometimes I think within a few days of each other

There was a Classic' something trained at the Vaal by Johan Van Eck....won his 101 'st start I think...maybe Classic Emblem????

Mr H think you referring to Pumkin Pie, used to go to the front and just not last. Won many swingers and exactas on her. In one race caught a swinger with her and her stable mate called Pumkin Time.

There was a recent one that was about 70/80 odd races as a maiden then went and won 2 in a row. I remember this because it knocked me out my pick 6 twice. I thought it had “movie” in the name but I could be mistaken. Think Muzi rode it.

I didn't choose the #puntlife, the #puntlife chose me!
