I took a day off yesterday, mainly to sort out a trip to the Arc (Longchamp) in October, but I'm back raring to go again at the Vaal today :P

Obviously some tough races today .... thoughts :

R2: Not a lot to get excited about; Khomotso made a fair debut and gets a tongue-tie today to assist with her breathing issues and is my first choice from Kissmeinmydreams; Regal Graduation needs to improve on her debut and the stable has had to scratch quite a few horses recently, so I'd definitely won't be relying on her

R3: Red Revolution disappointed last time, but is probably worth another chance; Skiminac the obvious danger, but he may be better over shorter; those two stand out imo, but Throng could be a bit of a dark horse over this trip from a good draw

R4: Not the toughest race on the card; imo it will go to either Sunshine Silk or Our Shining Star; the only others I'd consider are Shakespeare Inlove and Sweaty Betty, but both these may prefer less ground

R5: Into the handicaps and this is tough; first choice for me is Musette; obvious chances to Curbstone Shuffle, Summer Sun and Tundra Taita; Beautiful Shay has some consistent form, but should be held by Musette

R6: Interesting race; End Game disappointed last time, but on her previous efforts look the right here and could be worth another chance imo; Dalley overdue for another win, but on their last meeting, there is nothing between her and Parisienne Chic; Royal Utopia suffers from breathing issues, so can't be relied on imo - still has an obvious chance at best; while both Arte and Eversilver ran close to End Game last time, but I suspect that not was not EG's true form

R7: Competitive; Hidden Agenda looks the right one at the weights, but is very tricky ride in that he needs to be covered up and thus needs luck in running; Amsterdam's last win was over this track and trip for Striker, so obvious chance as well with Samurai Blade and Wild Horizon, while the other 5 are not out of it

R8: Cash Time looks capable and should be right there again; danger imo is Inn a Million, but that one comes off a little break, so may just need it; next best imo would be Sheet Weaver, while the roughie Revelation has come down a lot in the ratings and could upset

R9: Toughest race on the card imo - load up

Wish Teletrack improves their coverage on them going down to post as the second race was poor

Suggest if there is a race on the go rather record and give us the replay on a full screen
