8 green bottles hanging on the wall.....
This would be the perfect time for those disillusioned with Phumelela to have a "virus" in their stable and cause the abandonment. Just saying

He never used the whip on Dynasys Boy last time, but the jockey change on November Storm brings it right into the race.

49 runners left.
i hear the starters assistants are off today as they are not needed for so few horses.
The carrier service sent a Minibus to fetch the horses today.
cam just imagine how few people will be on track today.
Disgrace

The wind is really pumping at Witsand, so racing is back on the agenda instead of a day on the beach.
Race 1: The betting looks spot on- Dynasty’s Boy should win this, with November Storm and Chatuchak to chase him home.
Race 2: I narrowly prefer Lily Theresa to Straat kind but any of the four could win this.
Race 3: This looks a trappy race, and although Hooves of Thunder improved nicely last time I won’t be rushing to take the 17/10.
Race 4: Queen Moira slightly preferred to Amazingly and Trip to Ibiza
Race 5: Meraki is the one to beat but is not far ahead of Cradle of Gratitude which is at an attractive 6/1. The first timers could upset.
Race 6: Dynasty’s Blossom is Another short priced favourite that will be hard to beat. Dangers are Zanadu and Azinza. Hither Green has shown a glimmer of form lately and could round off the quartet.
Race 7: We have Sylvanite running here- she has been very disappointing of late and has tumbled down the merit ratings. She pulls the worst draw here which won’t help. There has been nothing wrong with her work, and if she decides to run anywhere near her best she could beat this lot. A nice roughie to include in exotics at 20/1.
I make this a very open race, and Spectraforce looks a fair ew chance at 8/1.
Race 8: Forehand looks the right one here, but Flower of Carmel and the lightly raced East Lynne should be respected.
