Race 1: Flower of Carmel worth the 11/10- anchor your doubles with this one.
Race 2: Expecting a good run from Bikini Model- I think we just have Hello Summer to beat.
Race 3: Open race- Platinum Class the one to beat. Bon Bon disappointing run last time- expecting a much better run here, but probably a place chance at best.
Race 4:The Goon Show will enjoy this trip and has a good draw. Will be competitive. Afdeek is obviously the one to beat but we will give him a go.
Race 5:A competitive race but Star of London will show further improvement and I think we have a good winning chance.
Race 6: No Selection
Race 7: Run Red has the most scope for improvement.
Race 8: William The Brave the best of the older horses, but may struggle to beat Coys and Spring Man.
Race 9Billy Silver should make amends here. Danger is Bad Attitude.
Race 10: A competitive race, expecting a decent effort from Sun at Midnight - ew chance.

Candice Bass Comments:
Flower Of Carmel: Doing well, two close up runs and should be a worthy favourite here.
Passion Peach: Trying back in a sprint in hope of some improvement .
Dubai Queen: Back after a layoff and could possibly need this run a bit.
Poetry: Tries around the turn, expecting a better run.
Sir Cliff: Scratched
Leaves Of Grass: She will prefer this sort of trip, the short run-in is not ideal , but she should have a big chance in this competitive field .
Cape Extreme: First run out the maidens and over this trip its never an easy task for a three year old, but he is doing well and could be competitive.
Overdose: A much improved run over ground last time, he is looking for further but if there is a nice pace on he will be running on strongly again. EW chance.
So It Begins: Fair debut, not drawn well but should improve further around the turn.
One minute: He should improve over this type of trip but will be need more ground and a few more runs to be effective.

Only commenting on RACED runners, NOT unraced runners since I was not watching them in prep
Race1: Ballroom Dance has the 4 best BAMRALs (Best Avg MR Adj Lengths behind) in the field, 2 of them achieved within the last 84 days and 2 within the last 30 weeks, He gets Blinkers on today 1st time and has Adj T/mtr and Speed rate counts within the Dark Green/Green vs the rest of the field... at 22/1, next best U for Me, passion Peach, Sports bar
Race 2: Bikini Model and Love Dove both has better BAMRALs to date than the one run of the 9/10 runner Hello Summer... if Summer does not improve properly on 2nd run then one of those 2 will take it imo
Race 3: Platinum Class is trying on BAMRAL will probably win but no value there with Fours A Crowd best runs to date beating Platinum class on BAMRAL (20Sept/11October) and Evelina also in with a shout
Race 4: Very little data to go by but on what's shows Afdeek is the banker
Double Bernard Faydherbe Platinum Class x Afdeek
... should get close
Race 5: Star of London probably the winner here if 1800 is not too steap BUT BAMRAL was going up from 1200 to 1400 and Fourie retains the ride... probably advised to go the extra trip... Next best First Swallow Royal Frost, Brave Move, Leaves of Grass
Race 6: Opera Royal looks the right one on BAMRAL, Adj Tmtr, Jockey booking and previous MR and on the Greyville runs will win well ... Super Stratum has definite shout and jockey booking confirms, Silver Rose 3rd choice... Black Belt did well under Akshay Balloo but Balloo goes elsewhere to a "non hoper" on bamrals has to find 26 lentghs
Race 7: Benfontein is the first choice on a few things... BAMRAL best, change from Behr to Faydherbe, best MR previous decent 5 draw, Captains Charm next best then dreaming Big, Run Red, Sacred Flame could surprise
Race 8 : William the Brave a faint 1st choice with Coys very close and Gibraltar queen another probable and Spring man still improvingBlack pimpernell and Chanones Theory could surprise to compete
Race 9 Billy Silver has the best BAMRAL but will probably go down to Nasty Harry in a photo that's coming back from a rest ... that's racing ... Magic Sailor and Bobby Dazzler with Bad Attitude the next best
PA play for the day : 2(4) x 5 x 6(7) x 3,5,2 x 5,2,6 x 2,6,7,1,16 x 3,2,8 = R135-00 (R540-00)
Race 10: Tsessebe, Rebels Spirit , Sun At Midnight , China Pearl, Lalena , Kenna the roughy
Play well, learn from each day...

Lovely stuff to start off the meeting at Kenilworth.100-1 shot from the same stable as the odds on favorite cruises to victory.Seems they aint got much of a clue what's going on.

Call me cynical but odds on favorites in maiden races in the Cape are being rolled with a lot of regularity at the moment
