The interpretation of "class" does not mean necessarily the horse has to be a multiple Grade 1 winner, won couple of consecutive races, etc. Take Woljayrine for example when it won at Fairview recently in a Novice Plate. At its rating prior to this run we all knew on paper it should be too "classy" for that field and so it was. To me "classy" will mean it will have the measure of its rivals on its exposed form relative to its opposition.

Classy is relative. Class is absolute.

Race 5 today at Scotsville is a perfect example where you can say that Redcarpet Captain and Seventh Plain should have too much "class" for the rest of the field.
