Race 1: Inertia in my black book....probably won't be wagering on him today - unless indications that he is well after last race - should be hard to hold or improve on that race form, so if he doesn't win here today one to watch. Nauticus should be coming along now and will definitely be looking to improve - another to watch.

Race 2: Henry Tudor looks well placed in this first handicap. Aviemore was strongly bet last time out and showed good improvement - could continue with that today. I was interested in Astrapi as well, but completely friendless in the market. Dayonaut should contest - Shadow Warrior running on.

Race 3: Captain Ram is being given every opportunity here, along with The Sun Also Rises. I have been attracted to Power Tower however, disappointed last time out - perhaps just too far, but should be ready to move further along over 1600m this time. Hadarat finding his feet at the mile and a decent debut from Roman Flyer. Captain Ram should be able to come through on this one.

Race 4: Difficult little race. Franking is ready to improve, Kamaishi could improve second run this trip, overdue a win off Supreme Love run. Valentine's Girl will be there, (Hard t ignore the solid market move on this one LR) . I lean towards Kamaishi, unless Valentine's Girl stays the mile in which case she should be formidable.
