Wonderful Sunday weather - but the card suggests no full bets at this stage, since it seems quite difficult.
Right from the intriguing first race - where we have potentially four contenders
DIAMONDS FOREVER, ROY'S MARLIN and SYMPHONY IN SEVENS, that's the form - but also includes
VAR AGTIG and ROY'S FLUTE. There is so little between all five that the winner will be found by luck.
On paper VAR AGTIG should win off the strength of it's gauteng debut - but I am not convinced that it's going to be that easy. SYMPHONY IN SEVENS was backed in to 22/1 from 36/1 in 2nd run for the stable after showing nothing on the track - came out and ran a race that reveals that, off that run, she is very much on a par with the other runners at best - it is unlikely that she can do any more than repeat that run, or run flat -- small chance that she improves and that would be a winning effort. DIAMONDS FOREVER has been running around the same mark for a number of runs - with a good polytrack effort behind vargraves - she could be better than this - although stable and jockey strike don't appeal - ROY'S MARLIN has justed started to get it right and suggests that there is further improvement to come, starts the race as joint top merit rated runner - Jockey strike does not appeal. i make ROY'S FLUTE a peak runner today and should challenge Var Agtig if improving further.
So offhand Var Agtig looks the one too beat but 3/1 represents an underlaid horse in this field. ROY'S MARLIN would seem substantially overlaid.

Surely must win today to have any chance of getting in the final field.
to me the jockey booking looks suspect

Race 2 - Succesfilly looked comfortable on the surface and the drop in trip should suit. E/W.
Race 7 - Competitive race where Scent of the Tiger enjoys this cd. Place.

You are 100% correct in questioning my post as its totally nonsense to say so myself, must try and remove myself from these conspiracy theories running my mind
Looks to be the one but personally like Silver Sails and the mature King Django

Going with the red hot combo of Gunter and LG first few races.
Monks Hood at the back. (Am in the queue for some lovely multiples if it lands)
