Not confirmed, one of my colleagues was just informed that one of the new bridges at the Umhlanga bypass under construction, has collapsed.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Durban disaster management has confirmed the new bridge at N2/M41 at Gateway has started to cave in and could collapse in the wake of the massive storm. Emergency services are on the scene and motorists are urged to avoid the area.

A ship, the MSC Ines, has been blown sideways in the harbour mouth, where old Thirsty's would have been.

Yes bru...umhlanga was hectic ...heavy winds and heavy rain for over 2 hours solid....
Heard part of the roofing at gateway collapsed
Also the new cornubia mall was also damaged...

News 24 has since retracted that story.
