I think it's gonna be the 7th pick 6 carryover in eight meetings here at fabulous Flamingo Park where the food is always good.Nice first win for the trainer there and a good ride by Bester,Muzi should have got going earlier I think.

Maybe Phumelela should dump the awful Time Bomb and use the Flamingo Park P6 as the DREAM (impossible) Bet

Pampierstad - 3 strikes out! 3rd time let the side down in a row. How many more times will this horse be a beaten favorite? 15/10 9/10 5/10. Guess that explains the last 2 carryovers and today is already a carryover.

It obviously liked the sand track Mydada as it's form on turf was atrocious and Muzi didn't ride a good race so the winner also had a bit of luck on it's side.

We know Flamingo Park is for the below average or problem horses but 7 out of 8 carryovers is shocking.Imagine all of our courses dealt out this type of results do you think we would have any punters left betting on SA racing? There is people who make money here but it is mostly a stable follower(Chicken)as studying form here mostly doesn't seem to pay off.

Just to rub salt into the wounds, River Rafter beat Pampierstad 1.20 lengths in the maidens and then franks that form by winning handicap debut whilst Pampierstad flops twice in maidens. Makes me wonder.....

.

.....at the outset of this meeting.... name dropping Nico K mentioned that this new trainer was getting rather anxious around the jockey room when racing was delayed earlier.....
