1. Has anyone picked up on the fact that on 2 August 2017, 3 days after Phumelela's 2016 Financial year end most of the executive board of directors purchased Phumelela shares at R17.39 per share at less than the RULING PRICE of R19.81 ?

2. Has anyone picked up that the price paid by these Phumelela directors is the exact same price that the RA was offering Phumelela shares to its members on 11 July 2017?

3. Has anyone noticed that these Phumelela directors each bought more than the 2051 shares of Phumelela that the RA was allocating to each member?

4. Except for 'The Good' has anyone noticed that the RA sold to an unnamed "ASSOCIATE" approximately R45million of Phumelela shares for R17.39 per shares when according to the RA the shares were only going to RA members?

5. Has anyone asked themselves whether all may not be what it seems? It is not a coincidence that the Phumelea board bought RA shares on the same day. It is no coincidence that R45 million of Phumelela shares were sold to an unknown associate within the Phumelela board. It is no coincidence that whoever acquired the Phumelela shares on 2 August 2017 acquired them for R2.42 less than the ruling market price. You do not have to be a rocket scientist to work out the profit made by each Phumelela director. One thing I am sure of and it is that nothing adds up.

6.Without casting any aspersions, I am interested to know whether this could all amount to insider trading? `

Yes we did know that.........see our comments above. It was not an Associate, but all 10 directors, some of whom some are called Associate (allowable by law). You can work out who the associates were.

When I was working for a Major corporate, shares were often given (sold) to certain staff members at prices way below the ruling price. It is legal to do so as long as the necessary authorizations, disclosures and reporting have been followed by the company.

Insider trading is a completely different kettle of fish, but does not relate to these transactions in any form whatsoever .

The JSE is also aware of these transactions and would have taken immediate action should any rules have been broken.

P.S. I am in no way connected to any of these companies and do not own any shares either.
