I'm not in CT today but I hear it is wet, so it makes a tricky card trickier.
Race 1: We have Counting Stars - he has been disappointing. He has a chance, but will need to improve. The unraced runners don't have to be too good to win. Streetfightingman looks the one to beat after a fair debut.
Race 2:Lake Washington was very poor on debut, and we are just hoping for some improvement. Looks a 3 horse race between Triple Explosion, Bernie and Capt Ram.
Race 3:Wine Festival is on the up and is the one to beat but a skinny price. Eveis Light looks better ew value, and Daring Miss should be in the frame.
Race 4: Weak field. Janices Secret and Scorpion Queen have fair form, but I prefer the lightly raced Saint Lazarre.
Race 5:Cigar Boy could win again, but an open contest. Juddering Angel, Piracy, Show Stealer, Flying Ryan and Prince of Eden others to consider.
Race 6: We have Sun At Midnight in a competitive field. She is well, although returning from a short break for vaccinations. Good ew chance. Azarenka, Essence of Life and Secretariats Girl
look the main opposition.
Race 7: Hithimagainchuck is the one to beat. Main dangers Western Storm, Saint Donan, and Rule the World.
Race 8: Redeemer, River Cam and Dragon Flame the three I like.
