R6 I think the maiden Singaswewin is value here. True, still a maiden after 22 runs but has been dropped back to 1000 for the last two outings. Not a great but, not a bad effort from the 10 box here lto in a maiden, but the run I like most was the penultimate when just 1.35l behind Heywot on the Vaal inside track, Heywot was drawn 1 that day, Singaswewin was in 9. He got an awkward start, was last at the half-way mark and did not get the clearest of runs having to come around to the outside. It should be said though that the winner of the race also came down the outside (Tour Of Duty under Muzi, Nico commenting how Muzi was desperate to get off to Mauritius... hmmmm). Heywot should be coming out of 6 today but Singaswewin has the 1 box and if he breaks well then I think he could have a big chance.
I also give Daspoort a chance. Seems to have had his fair share of issues recently, including some poor draws, but has the 4 box today and if fit and well he could take advantage of his tumbling rating in this weaker class. He is a 4 time distance winner with 2 of those wins coming at this track, he also has a bronze on the course and the only times he ran out of the places here he was drawn 11/12 and 13/13.
R7 I like Rebuked quite strongly. The outsider I have nibbled is Ananda, Tentative but his 2 starts over c/d were from the widest draw each time, he aggravated that by being slow away both times, and they followed an 18 week rest. He has subsequently tried further once and the Bingo sand. The form of his poly maiden win worked out pretty well though and if the excuses are valid since coming to Gauteng then improvement is likely. Stable is in form and Zechner has a good recent record for them. Back at this distance from a good draw it seems a possibility to me and at the price I'm happy to chance it.
R8 Bit of a nightmare. Water Lily Lake looks to have a major chance despite the draw but it wouldn't surprise me if she found at least one too good on the day, she is no world beater herself and 9 is a tough draw. Nibble on Intisara just because she throws in the occasional half decent run and has the two draw.
Be(s)t of luck to all

SO VAR was always gonna be a tough one to beat.
Guys KINGS CREEK in the next will take a ton of beating despite her drift in the market. Get whatever you can now straight up and take doubles with HEYWOT

WP it won't win. I've got doubles, trebles and a quad landing on it.
