Nice to read all the contributions .... here's my take:
R1: Workriders - hard to be confident, but on the support she received first time out, Lady Burn worth a small nibble for the desperate
R2: No More Words the obvious one, seems very short to me though for a juvenile going around the turn ... Flying Falcon not that far behind her last time, may appreciate the drop in trip and has at least been around this turn - each way value at 13/1 imo
R3: Not easy ... Alraune deserves to be favorite, but the 1450 from a wide draw may just stretch her .... Glencassley is improving with racing and from a good draw, the 6/1 looks tempting
R4: Miss Bulsara all the rage, SHOULD stay the 2000, but of she does not see it out, this could prove a nightmare, Kings Creek also more effective over shorter, so the ex-de Kock trainer Vul Indlela could perhaps spring the surprise - the others do seem held imo
R5: The desperate stakes - none of these can be relied upon and whoever is in the mood will win - shortlist probably numbers 1 thru 5 .... Lazy Lad did run on a bot over 1800 last time, so could be the surprise packed over the extra 600m
R6: Both Starpath and Happy Pills look destined for better things, so maybe this is the race to take a stand with those two .... if they both fluff their lines, any of Yer-Maan, Trip to Rio, Side Show (if he stays), or Fangia can pick up the pieces .... Sputnik Plain should actually beat Starpath on their runs to Muntahaa , but I think Starpath has improved a lot since then
R7: Interesting handicap, where Silver Scooter has a lot going for him - but National Key did finish in front of him when they both ran behind Jiffy and NK is better off at the weights. Nothing much between Morpheus (twice a winner over this trip from the 3 tries) Bizjet and Count Tassilo (very consistent) on their last meeting, so it looks quite competitive imo
R8: Bit of a nightmare imo .... Captain Chips logical first choice, but has been struggling for 434 days to win his next race and has a wide draw to boot; nothing however jumps out at me as definitely capable of beating him ..... Ben Shea very high in the weights imo (both BS and Carve the Turkey beat Connect by around a length in the maidens and CtT now gets 6 kgs from BS); Zelig is coming down the ratings and looks ready to run close, while the juvenile Prince of Kahal could be way better (or way worse) than rated .... then we have Black Cossack, who with a different jock I would have give a big chance - twice a winner from 3 tries here and Haddington ran a blinder here in a Graduation Plate last time, but also has a 'less fashionable' jock plus a wide draw as negatives ... no choice but to load up
R9: Obvious one here is Cat's Whiskers - and due to the tough handicaps earlier, it might be best to at least have a chance going into the last leg of the P6 with her as the banker, than coming the last leg already licking your wounds .... Spider Flower is a winner over this trip, but her recent form does not inspire any confidence, Lady on Fire ran well last time, but is very inconsistent .... so I'm rowing in with the favorite ...
Enjoy

Fancy the double :-
Miss Bulsara X Happy Pills (hopefully won't need a few of these should the double not arrive

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Funny seeing Striker take the mount on a juvenile in Race 2?
Must have a good chance.
