For the last year there are only 2 tracks it is even worth taking PA's and only 2 or 3 for the Bi-pot!
I believe that unless the take out is reduced and the unit cost is increased (with a limit to the fractional bet ) bigger punters will start to lose interest in both bets!
I would be interested to know what data Saftote keep (other than just total pools),but judging by strategy I would say none.
Hey Rob.Those 2 tracks you mention? Is it Fairview and Scottsville? Just curious thanks.

Heinrich ,I still managing to beat the take-out on Vaal (both courses) and Fairview (Turf)
(I still take at Scottsville most meetings but only if I get a look at the straight in an earlier race)
Bi-pot pools are still increasing but I'm not sure they will remain popular on all courses.
I personally would like to see PA's and bi-pots cost R2.50 a line with a min fraction of 10%(25c)as they both multiply
I would also like to see p6's go immediately to R1.50 (min 15c) and Jpots R5 (min 50c) (but reintroduce couplings and first timer rules!
(If that sounds extreme ,exotics would be well over R10 a line if they had been linked to inflation
I think it might make sense to have varying prices depending on "chance" of bet!
