Frodo wrote: At first glance it seems a favorite day .... however, it may not turn out quite as clear-cut as first appears

R1: Hard to compare the relative merits of the exposed runs between Lolita Delago / Miss Aphrodite form line and the Sandalwood form line - then there is also the debutant and the issue of juveniles improving at different rates from one run to the next - so nothing clear cut here imo.

R2: Pretty much the same story as the first race; Mujallad extremely short imo - on the 'calculated / derived' 400 to finish times in Computaform, Agitator produced a much faster time and then there is also the 2 first timers

R3: I think Rights of Man could be the right one - but very little between him and Together Forever on the run behind Pagoda - I think these two have the best form in the race and will fight it out

R4: Ordained another of those that look tough to beat, only negative is it is her first run around the turn after being kept (deliberately ?) down the straight - Snow Path is improving and could spoil favorite's party, while Love Tryst is moderate, but has at least raced around the turn, so should place again

R5: With the scratching of Al Sahem, Doosra looks very hard to oppose, Chili Con Carne seems to prefer 1400 and could make Doosra work for victory

R6: Daffiq yet another one that looks hard to oppose, 2nd run after a longish rest though could be an issue - and there are plenty who can take advantage if he runs below par; Cumberland will probably be setting a hot pace, which could play into hands of Baracah, who gets Strydom back in the irons - and their record reads 4 wins, a 2nd and a 3rd from 9 tries

R7: Raasmaal another that looks to keep favorite punters on a roll - though he won his maiden very cosily, he did not beat much and as such is out at the weights here on official MR - lots of if's and but's about the competition - IF Aussie Austin and Rightful King can re-capture their juvenile form, they could fight it out; Al Azraq is very capable and if he can reproduce his best should win this according to official MR

R8: If a few of the hotties get rolled earlier, we could be in for a decent P6 pay-out, and this last race could make a few sweat; Spring Steel and Joey Piper look the obvious 2, but they do seem to have some chinks in their armour - Spring Steel looks less vulnerable as he made a pleasing come-back after a few months off - should be right there if not falling into that '2nd run after a break' syndrome; Joey Piper seems to have his issues and needs to reproduce his debut effort after not striding out last time; I make Dragoon the biggest danger to these two - he had 2 tries this course and distance for a win and a third, ran on well last time over 1000, so definite inclusion imo; I really fancied Zortziko last time, but after rearing and casting a shoe, he faded out tamely over the last 200 - has come down another 2 points of what I believe was competitive mark already - I will be including him; then there is Side Show; won his maiden by 5 lengths and then ran 7.5 lengths at level weights behind Hack Green; MR has dropped by 9 points, so could be surprise package here

Enjoy B)

And not a bloody cent on Side Show :(
