The two top weights were rated 104, but those ratings were earned over 1600m- 1800m. They both ran below their best, and Gogetthesherriff never got a run. Blarney is an 8 yr old, and has consistently run between 93 and 99 for the past 3 years. It is ridiculous to expect improvement. Kingvoldt came into this race rated 93- ran exactly where he should have relative to the winner at the weights. In my opinion, no change to their ratings is warranted from this race except NH-Notting Hill ran 6 below Kingvoldt- ie an 87 vs his rating of 80, but under the rules he can't be adjusted.
