No I didnt hear that part, dont think they aired it, but might of missed it. They did show shocking pics of how some guys were killing the donkeys (using sledge hammers) and also mentioned how the donkeys were being skinned alive. Did see a few horses during the airing aswell, but no mention of race horses. The 2 FUCKERS that were using sledge hammers have been arrested.... sickening...

Shocking to read that karma, the courts have to make an example of them and give them a huge fine plus a long term prison sentence which may just deter others from doing so. Stop the export to China, write to your local MP, get a petition started so that they have to debate it in Parliament.

Just a suggestion

From now on, if all participants are in agreement, we should donate a percentage of the entrance fee of comps held to places like the Donkey Trust or HCU.

The figures I say now might not be spot on, but very close... its something like they require 7 million donkey skins per annum for "medicine" of which they can only account for 3 in China. So they must outsource for the other 4, and we are now a target. They showed a container that was close to being ready for export (was waiting for papers from SARS), with 7000 skins inside.

I agree.. they do wonderful and thankless jobs day in and day out.. and at the end of they day, you know they are not in it for the money... but for the love of animals....

Hartswater is close to Kimberley. I wonder how many TB's have been slaughtered that originated from there? Makes the ridicule I got for highlighting the lack of a HCU at the centre shameful. There are too many people with vested interests and little care for the welfare of the animals that earn them their living that want to wish this abomination away it seems.
