They have bought broodmares before and also of Aga Khan broodmares and bred them with USA sires . The one that comes to mind is Estimation whose dam is Ebaraya but Estimation was sold although being a filly and a future broodmare prospect...

Posted, this 6 years ago. Estimation is the dam of the 4th race winner yesterday at Kenilworth, Estimated.

....bit of a flop here as they sent the dam to Captain Al numerous times for less than mediocre results....but the Pathfork mare was much better but still not a world beater.....

The main reason at the time of the post was that Estimation was related to Estimate, the Ascot Gold Cup winner of the late Queen. Apparently it was given to her has a gift by Aga Khan.

At that time, I think Jooste bought couple of overseas bred fillies.

I always wondered if it is possible for an overseas based broodmare to be broodmare of the year in South Africa.

......I actually like this mare Estimation as infusing her dam with a bit of MrP and duplicating SW makes her attractive for finding a match outside of the Stallions of where she stands....but sadly looks like she is no longer producing as she has not taken in the last few seasons..... :(

The Jooste's always had potential of turning racing into a sparkle. Crime not related to horses?

Rabada was 2/1 shot on July day gate time.
