That is total BS Bob. Weve had plenty rain overnight and still raining. I know Durbanville drains well but i have my doubts

Steady rain, rather than bucketing down...have my doubts as well but I'm hoping that we'll race AND get through the day :cheer:

Don't want to move away from your selections but was interested to read Jack Milners comments on the racing at Durbanville
" once again that mysterious Durbanville bug has struck, the one that only horses who have drawn badly.
No sooner had the final fields been announced by lunchtime Friday there were a bunch of "coughers " in various stables. Remarkably they were all drawn 11 and upwards "

neigh wrote: I have a first timer in the first, Bombshell Girl, full sister to Elusivenchantment (hard to believe as they dont look anything alike) she is fast but a "head case" and may need a few races (or not) and a whisperer/psychologist or not. If you are confused how must I feel ?  Small e/w and exotics. Thats if we are racing ??

All the best Neigh.

I did a str bet on Bombshell to cover stakes...just in case Rod Stewart does not show

This going will negate the draw a bit imo

If Bombshell is "very speedy and unlikely to see out 1000"...then this going will certainly not be in its favour
