Surely the 28/1 on Greek Legend is a massive price. Might not have enjoyed the soft conditions last time out. Off only 52kgs could be a big runner and looks lovely EW value IMO.

New Predator to set the pace? Or Trip to Heaven? Either way there will need to be a good pace for Ice Machine. However this is a small field and I think one of 3 horse can win this. Trip to Heaven if he jumps, Ice Machine or Prospect Strike. I'm leaning towards Prospect even though out at the weights. Fair draw, great turn of foot irrespective of pace. I will take a little double with Jubilee Line who I think will win.

R7, Triptique is very much alive. Looking at the Drill Hall race, he does have the beating of both Ice Machine and New Predator. He has come in from the second widest draw to pole position, and is weighted to finish ahead of New Predator. Third run after the rest and this may be his target for the season, 13/2 is worth the risk.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

^ can't find the article now but I remember Candice saying she thought Silver Mountain is as good as Sun Classique or even better. That was at that stage though and no one knows if she's trained on. Still think she has a potentially higher ceiling than Inara.

betting is still probably on reputation and not recent form.
