At Ayr..what a disgrace. Such small fields in the majority of the card..must have got something to do with the price of the fuel. So I will be looking out for the horses that have travelled the furthest to get to this Scottish outpost.In the opener Night of Fortune could stick the odds on fav. I also fancy Lady Valentino and Killer Class later on the card.

In the first race at Yarmouth I am going for a small punt on Thumbs Up. This trainers horses do strip out better after their first run. I also fancy Guest Connection and Simple Rhymn to win.

At Great Leighs in the first race Directors Chair at 16/1 is good value for the each way. In a box forecast I will play Directors Chair with Pediment and Shy.

Ten Down is an interesting runner in the next at Great Leighs..has won 5 times over the past 6 months on the all weather and at 16/1 is a good each way and place bet. The top two in the betting look good. I expect Ten Down to hit the front and then hope that it can stay .
