Nurseries were a bit of a shock. Times were very average, fillies race was slower than any of the Maidens and even the Colts was average . Looking at the colts race ,it looked as though the 3 in the photo for minors were all hoping for a good pace and to finish well ,but only The winner was interested in taking up the pace and stayed on well off a moderate one. Credit to Heroldt because the other jocks seemed to be running in fits and starts
