I don't play exotics very often but I'd assume that after one leg the tote is able to take its 25% and then pay out accordingly. Means as long as they make it to the first leg of the jackpot they get their money from the PA, P6 and jackpot so are happy to abandon after that.

They refund fully unless more than one leg is run !!!!!!!!!
However taking the full take-out on partial bets (Bi-Pot and PA) is still theft!

I know you're going to say it's NOT the operators fault if the jockeys can't see but why so late in the day? Halfway through the meeting?Surely they could have forseen this?

We all know this has been happening for as long as we can remember
Take the punters money,stuff them!

Why not make the call after the 4th race?

Not so sure about the refund Rob but you're right
It's theft any way you look at it

If you see the UK visibility they race in,I don't believe it was visibility at all ............the cynic in me suspects it was a deal :P ......."we will abandon but call it visibility" ...........we don't want to look foolish for not switching to Poly, which should have been a given, based on the forecast!

Did anyone notice?

I cannot help but express my disgust when Francois Herholdt signalled a halt sign to JP as he led the Race 5 winner to the unsaddling enclosure. JP in return jumped up and high 5'd him. I knew immediately that the racing would be abandoned.

What a disgrace and a lack of respect for us punters.

I see Herholdt carded to ride in CT tomorrow. How will he cope with the soft underfoot conditions.

URGENT MESSAGE TO PE JOCKEYS

If it were you that had the meeting called off then if you have any thoughts of ever riding in the UK stop those thoughts now as the stewards will laugh at you if you only like to ride in sunny conditions.

If not then ignore the above.
