really cant understand the poor turnout for the listed race as it gives fillies a chance to earn some black type and more importantly ONLY the winner can get a penalty of up to 6 points while the rest of the field incur zero penalty ..hence the decision to run shesafortress who is up to4.5kg under sufferance but if sneaks a place cant be penalised..plenty coming back from rests and some not running to their current rating so got nothing to lose ..seventh symphony with little genie in her formline and clear sailing with a win against miss varlicious if either are right can easily win a race like this...there are no val da ras or via afrikas in this field both previous winners of this race

Can make a case for any horse in the 7th so I'll make a case for Genial as its got the highest odds and it's really well in at the weights with SAF and could've just needed the comeback run. 40/1 e/w can't get hurt

Also, surprised to see the Spies 2 year old scratched was on the verge of setting a record of racing at 3 different centers, in 2 provinces, 4 different times in the space of 10 days. Couldn't imagine why it's not sound enough to pull that off :lol:
