Delpech had 3 winners for De Kock in the July so the article has a slight mistake. The first was Greys Inn in 2004 when all number 10s had the South African flag on its number cloth.

I see that ,according to the Sporting Post, the arrangement was "informal".......................It appears that recently Delpech was making himself available and frequently other jocks were getting the nod.
Will they race without a stable jock ......................if so ,I predict that the stable, which has not been quite so reliable in recent times, will become even less so.
Who they going to use ...............Marcus is contracted ,Striker and DeKock don't see eye to eye so it will be interesting to see if they "punish" Delpech for the audacity!

Reading the last few lines it hits home

Do you agree there is a lack of jockey talent in SA?

After Marcus, Delpech, Strydom and Marwing (who are all getting on )

The rest are just average or slightly above average imo
