khumalo was hard at work 1200 out. watch the replay. it was a fit horse who led most of the way over 2200 last time. I would say it was a top ride?

It was 12 lengths in front 1200m out :whistle:

Over 2200m many of these same horses and riders did not let that horse get away by more than 2 or three lengths - Now over shorter they think they can let her go clear by lengths and still win. I oner what the stipes will make of that

Exactly the same tactics on the front horse they just didn't allow it to get away this time, simple. Then again Fortune is the best jockey riding today by a mile so not surprised he didn't allow the same thing to happen. If he wasn't there those others would've fallen asleep again and let it go.

He was champion jockey because he took more rides than the other jockies, his percentage winners doesn't even rank top 5 season after season, he's far from a 'champion'. I mean he's riding in Turffontein while the proper jocks all head to the Cape for real racing to try sneak a couple winners :whistle:

What happens to doubles, trebles etc if the horse gets scratched? Juts a total refund?

lol noob. if your other legs come in you will be paid for them. so you're multis still stand just your stake on this horse gets carried onto your other legs if they are live.
