Well say average stake for 2nd is R16 000

1) Less Trainer Commission R1600 actually 7% , not 10%
2) Less Jockey Commission R1600 7% if 2nd -5th , only 10% when winning
3) Less Training Fees/Vet Bills/Transport etc R10 000 +\- HALF THAT, OWNED BY TRAINER

All in all the horse breaks even. Not an ATM by any means! earned 72k in first 7 months and 260kk in last 11 months. !!!!!!! And his not making money ??????

Sure it's better than not running second and having to put in money each month, but I don't think one should give the horse too much glory as it isn't actually "making" money.
