I was lucky enough to win a pick 6 there which paid R17k which was a lot of money in 1990 for the very small outlay of r8 I presented the ticket to the off tote inRacecourse road in Kenilworth on the Thursday, they took down my name etc and gave me a receipt. The next day I had to go into the offices at Kenilworth race course to pick up the cheque. Felt like a king walking into the bank to deposit. I suppose nowadays they keep 17k in the cashiers draw as petty cash
I'm only 25 and you making me nostalgic, it's not lookin good atm, miss when there was hope for this place. Yeah they pay out up to 25k cash without even showing ID now, anything above 25k you gtta show ID for fica and some pay cash some EFT

I make it a fav card so I'm playing small as I know that this course can produce results at times
TWENTY FOUR CARAT - watched that last run - looks too good here - taking a chance and Bi-pot banker
BAKSTEEN - last start C/D was almost a winning one. Faces many repeat rivals so I suppose could get rolled in a tight finish but again I'm bankering in Bi-pot and PA.
AREZZO scope and despite weight will go close to winning - MAMBO SQUARE work a small place bet at evens off the low weight.
MIXED EMOTIONS ran on well on debut - worth an e/w but may need further and Kenilworth.
Pixelate has the form to win and must go into all bets.
CHISANYAMA very close to the fav here on runs to Anglet. I think will run well - I'm including AROMATICS in bi-pot
Size the Throne has disappointed me but perhaps shorter is better for this big horse. Family seemed best over 1400m mile so from that draw he must go in. I do like CAPTAIN SWAROVSKI as he was a good baby last term.
SEVEN GRAND but tough race
CANDALEEYAH was given no chance last time - had a mountain to climb and ran on best - Breeding suggest that the trip will suite.
