I'd rather be all over Madam Chiang than the cookie!

That inside rail is going to help today
but this is the UK where the people who are employed to look after the running tracks actually do the job that they are paid to do that's why you will only get meetings called off when the track is frost hard or flooded. As you have seen they race in the rain, wind and snow.
Guys there has been more rain at Kenilworth this last two weeks than there has been at Ascot in a year
33mls ascot yesterday
45mls kenilworth yesterday
Kenilworth has a fantastic drainage system because they are geared up for the rain fall in the WINTER, whereas here it pisses down in the summer and with the ground been hard the water just sits.

If Golden Horn wins today then people will start saying that this is the 2nd Frankel. We all thought that we wont see another Frankel. Are we witnessing another super horse? Rhetorical question.

Different type of horse chook...
Former champion Jockey Kevin Darley has just tweeted that it`s no worse than good to soft now, amazing drainage at Ascot...
Seemingly glorious goodwood had 24 mls yesterday and their clerk of the course says no soft in the going description at all

Would have been a pity if beaten by the conditions rather than the ability of a rival...so I'm glad he stays unbeaten...
