Why did Stairway to Heaven go up from a MR47 to MR69 after its maiden win... Is that right??

I don't think the usual 8 points max applies to maiden winners - so she got the rating she ran to - interesting that she ran a fair race in mixed company off that rating - and today tries to beat the colts again - could be that their are not enough fillies handicaps over sprints available right now - as quite a few fillies and mares are trying their luck against the males in the last 2 races today

When I did my work last night I nearly fell off my chair when checked the betting(I only check betting when finished to avoid influence) and found the horses was odds on.
Had to go back and see what I had missed and I found nothing.
At the expense of being labelled a conspiracy theorist,I can now only suspect that it was always coming out and the level of deduction was the plan!

(I may be biased ...........I had already backed Askaban as my BB for the day ..........now the bet has been decimated)

ya Rob, but how much would have been punted early on the other runners to merit such action?

Probably win on debut but missed 3yr old season - Some very poor full brothers but full sister could run - I think the 3 bar is a complete write-off as this horse will not recoup that cash having missed a classic season.

Have no idea ,but the deduction would be pleasant!..............put another way Bob,I wonder what reason it was ever odds on ..........having it top of the boards is not so much of an "action" just interesting why the price!
