The bottom line is that there should not be this kind of award.

It's not a joke , what about all the history and prestige that goes with winning these awards.

A perfect example would be giving an award for the longest drive at the US Open Golf .

I do agree with you but and a big but , if you giving an award make sure the facts are correct , what else do the nhra get wrong ?

Savas and Flaunt you have such a chip on your shoulder Highveld season ends on Champion day .Thats why Soma horse won .Get off your high horse about any to do with Larry or racing!

Firstly Riverj, when last i looked I had no shoulder chips! Lyle Hewittson won the champion workrider, well deserved, great talent with a good brain. The workriders series finished after the your so called season! So your statement regarding the Highveld season ends on champions day holds no water as per the work riders award. It is a new award yes but where are the guidelines for handing out the award? Is it set out somewhere that we can read and apologize if wrong?

Flaunt work riders series is not over a season .It is over a few big days for them .Ra awards is been done the way it is for years
