You may as well call the race the "Joburg July". The firepower will be too hot... 1.2.3 for Joburg.

So do we think Majmu stays?

she certainly plugged on but not sure she stayed at full pace on Saturday as she was plenty close enough if good enough?

I still think that's good value. He's shown he doesn't need a good draw and think if he cracks a decent draw he has a huge winning chance. If he gets a bad draw he will come home late into the top 4 imo.Think he will start in single digits personally

Futura top weight 60kg - 4yo MR 120
SC - 3yo MR 109 will carry minimum for 3yo fillies which is 52kg, 0.5kg under sufferance.
If Futura can't run for any reason, next highest MR is Legislate MR 117- then she would carry 53kg.
Please note that we have NOT YET made a final decision as to whether Siren's Call will go to KZN season.

It would appear I am 1 kg out- the 3yo WFA is 2kg and not 3kg for the July.

Why is Futura drifting slightly in the betting 5/1 from 5/2? i thought the injury fears are over?

I find the market very strange

Majmu doubtful and strenthens
Futura all fine and weakens

Iv'e just had a look at the betting and see no Whylie Hall..........thought it must be mistake but it appears to not be entered ????...........is that a reaction to last years debacle perhaps??? ............otherwise it is surely a surprise!
