He may have been a little fresh tonight just like Light the Lights however I still think he is better over 6 furlongs!
The thing I'm most shocked about is how the Kotzen stable keeps on trying to tuck Light the Lights in and he keeps on pulling and not finishing off the races. I hope at some point they learn an just let him stride.

Something about doing things the same way and expecting different results?

Kingvoldt didn't run a terrible race .He had to switch at an awkward time on the short straight and then stayed on well rather than finished impressively. Credit toHeartland though. Obviously a nice horse, won quite comfortably. On the 3 runs I have seen , he is the type that will be difficult to get passed in a finish and I suspect he will be up there in the features , especially on that course.

Light the lights looked loony on the way to the stalls..is better than that effort for sure.

A nice nights racing. One thing I noticed was the amount of Natal horses involved in the two grade 3's. Where are they ? Still prepping ?
