Some early thoughts but the meeting has lost a bit interest for scotia without Kauto and Big Bucks.
Day one Arkle chase should go to Un De Sceaux
Champion hurdle where Faugheen should start fav but not cut and dry with the new one, Jezki and it would be wonderful to watch Hurricane Fly come home in a driving finish.
Supreme novice should go to Douvan

Day 2 the bumper 10/1 field small fancy for Moon Racer
Champion chase where if Sprinter Sacre was back to best no contest but with 4/1 on offer many concerns plus Sire De Grugy a decent sort

Day 3 world hurdle and an open race without BB and expect Zarkander and Rock on Ruby for the swinger.
Ryanair where Cue Card will always give you a good run for your money.

Gold Cup day where Silviniaco Conti should top the boards but maybe Bobs Worth is worth another chance to dethrone the champ.

Good punting

ALBERT BARTLETT NOVICES HURDLE.
SNOW FALCON 40/1

From only six career starts this nice sort has never been outside the first two. Since stepping beyond two miles his form has gone up a couple of notches. He got within half a length of the useful Identity Thief over 2m4f at Leopardstown at Christmas, and Paul Carberry struggled to pull him up after the line that day. He then improved again to hack up in a 2m7f maiden hurdle at Navan on soft ground.

Being a son of Presenting he will definitely improve for the better ground at the festival. His profile is not that dissimilar to last year’s winner Very Wood, also trained by Noel Meade. Meade is quietly sweet on Snow Falcons prospects. On an upward curve, in good hands, and certain to relish good ground, this horse is no 40/1 shot. There is also the prospect that the Albert Bartlett is a weak race this year. The English challenge particularly looks flimsy. If Value at Risk is the UK’s best hope then they have no chance of winning the race as he looked a soft touch the last day. I would fancy Snow Falcon to beat him and on that basis alone he worthy of support.

Who on ABC can honestly hold up their hand and say that they win at Cheltenham? Not me.

Dave , Snow Falcon 20/1 best price here in Dublin. Do you think he might open bigger on the day ? Taking a bit of 20's anyway. For a festival race it does look a tad weak.
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy !!!!!!!

A lot of punters (myself included) will be betting E/W a fair bit at Cheltenham next week. If you're betting with a UK or Irish-based bookmaker, make sure your bookmaker is offering 1/4 the odds a place on ALL races at the festival. Don't be stung by the small number of operators who are still offering 1/5 the odds a place on some of the non-handicaps (including, as I write this, the Champion Hurdle and Champion Chase).

Bordini is the best bumper horse in the Mullins yard and must have a great chance.

Jezki in the Champion Hurdle has been in my head for some time.Faugheen may be a superstar but has he met,let alone beaten, this class of horses.
Silviani de Conti for the Gold Cup.He should have won in 2013 let alone last year.
