Well not a bad day on Sunday with all runners earning money for their owners. Lets hope today goes even better on what looks like going to be a rainy day. Raining at Summerveld already and the weather forecasters are predicting up to 50mls in the next 24hrs. If that is right I hope it is after the meeting is finished. We start today with Summer Beauty back down the straight with blinkers on for the 1st time. She is better than she has shown and we are hoping that the blinkers will help. In the 4th we have Dayan and have fitted him with blinkers and a tongue tie. Hopefully this will help him show his true form. We then go to the 7th where we have Flyfirstclass running in a small feature race. He is drawn on the wrong side of the track but it is not a big field. He is worse off at the weights with a few of the opposition on his last run but is well and will run well. Anton would have ridden him but had to ride Pej which is probably the horse to beat. In the last(if we get there) we have the ever consistent Chill. The right race for him and expect a big run. He will be right there at the finish.

The softer the better for this horse....

Gill's Fancy has huge scope for improvement. Lost a couple lengths in the gates and ran very green. With Cormack up I think this one should win nicely if taking to the soft conditions.

Those 3 Clairwood sprints Tappaway lost were to some serious horses, will take a special horse to beat her.

Our filly (9)Bratislava is running in the 5th race, needs further, drawn wide, just looking for improvement. All the usual disclaimers apply.....
