Point taken chris.I know it is hard for a young horse to beat older rivals this time of the year but lotus lily lake is a three year old and had 53kg on it's back only 2kg less than captain alfredo but captain alfredo had won twice and was unbeaten.

Yes durbs, Little Richard will rock you when you least expect it.

Like losing on an odds on favourite, and winning on an 8/1 shot.

Watch him on Saturday on Sabadell. Typical Little Richard upset !

I think 2kg's combined with the experience of more runs against seasoned company would account for the win in open company.

Also, nobody could have foreseen that CA would lose some ground at the start and then be rushed up to the lead by that pampoen.....

Yes chris I also think karl panicked and sent the horse forward too quickly and it faded badly.A better ride I think it should have got placed.

The next race is a perfect example although it is a very weak field.....

The 3 3 year olds are at the top of the handicap here. I think they could win no worries as the race is weak but I wouldn't take the prices off what they are offering. Perhaps we should look at the older horses down the handicap such as o Chee Pan or perhaps Belcourt Castle with a light weight and a decent appy.

Yes Chris, and we all agree with you !

And the guy is supposed to be a professional 1st Class Jockey !

He seems to be mentoring Li'L Richard.

Easy Tiger, leave Richard out of this. He is a top boy.

The only 3 year old that looked well to me was Liquid Mercury. Everything else looked pretty ordinary to me.

Perhaps a small place on Belcourt Castle? Seems to me that the race could be run to suit him. Robertson will go out like the clappers and he can settle in 2nd or 3rd......
