I recall tipping this one to you no2son to win the Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham. You said too small and won't go up the hill. You also said you would show your are in Marks & Spencer's window if it did win. Still waiting for the photo as proof but I hear some children were severely traumised.

Katchit, who went on to win the Champion Hurdle.

Indeed it was Devon Loch for the Queen Mother ridden by Dick Francis who went on to become a famous author.

Seeing as we are reminiscing,do you remember this race? This is when bookies would take a bet.My pals dad owned the winner and we was on at all odds from 66/1 down.
Had he's Handicapp mark well looked after for months,still brings goose bumps watching it scythe through the field.
