Mr. H

I said he was wearing shorts.

I DID NOT say he was also wearing a torn T-shirt and flip-flops, with a nose-ring and other body piercings, and 3 tattoos, and generally looked shit !

He was neat and tidily dressed, in his opinion, and in mine.

Racing must be in a great shape if all we can muster to moan about on this thread is attire at the races .

Do i think people should dress acceptably at the races? Definitely, but i would stay away from the respect aspect as I for one respect few people in the structures of racing and neither did i respect the decision on July day.... or the decision of champion 2yr old filly so lets stay away from respect. People in general do not respect the decisions and antics of the structures that run racing and i am not talking about the selected few that make their living from it. I am talking the life blood of the industry and those are the punters so i would stay away from respect.

Work all week in a stuffy office, wearing shirt and Tie, then needing to wear a stuffy shirt and tie to take part in your hobby

Hmmm

How did anybody connect the NHA to dress code -that would've been up to the operators - the dress comment in his interview was merely an observation of changing times!

Maybe because the NHA don't do much in the rest of racing...
