Sportingbet punter wins BIG

I do not know of any bookmaker that would give that odds,but they all come on ABC to post/boast huge payouts on horses
About the only way they pay out big is for us to place TOTE BETS or SP with them

The three bookies i use will say ...you have reached our internet liability,please call.bla bla bla
Then to get what i want,i have to go to their outlet and place the same bet :evil:

and then they go and phone...[sick]
please reduce your STAKE...why not make that one a place!

If you were realistically trying to take a bet via the tote the last few winners would drop dramatically with the amount of winning tickets and your last 11/4 shot would be paying R1.10 for a win

However well done to the lucky punter, this often happens in soccer bets and the normal practice is to offer the punter a cash payout before the last game is played :woohoo:

dave,we didnt draw the comparison between their prices,starting prices,tote odds,THEY DID..and most punters already know how diluted the last few prices would be reduced on the tote...but the questions remains....had we only had a tote to bet on and the pools were a in excess of 1.5 million per race...would the tote pay out the punter less than he is supposed to win..that is the question....for sporting post to actually use this as a publicity promo,in my eyes certainly has backfired on them,when we read all the facts...

i read so many bookies say...maximum 1 million per ticket..thats such a bullshit ruling...cos do they reall want to waste the punters time and their staffs time,if the bet was being taken over the counterby making the punter take the bet over and over again at reduced stakes like 5 bets with a R10.00 value..what a load of hogwash

Maybe you should say -- “sporting??”-bet are one of the biggest bookies catering to mugs.

The punter takes a bet 4,760,750/50, but the mug does not know he is going to do R40 in cold, for their limit is 1,000,000.
Why do they even accept his R50 bet at these odds, when their limit is winnable with a mere R10?

Nice business if you can get it.

This is fraud. If your limit on a fixed odds bet is 1 million you make sure your software does not lay bets exceeding 1 million.

Had he left Se Agabor out of his bet he would have stood to still win over 1 million.

precisely the point...se agabor was a bet to nothing for them

who cares even if they even made the bet tax free....they still scored at the punters expense

Sadly, By logging onto their Site and placing a bet you agree to their Terms and Conditions. If their Terms and Conditions state that If you Win a million you must offer your First born to the Great and Honorable Flying Spagetti Monster.. then well bye bye first born.. Same goes for the Bet in question because their Win limit is 1 mil u only gonna get paid out one mil because TnCs.
