OK one selection a day does level the playing field somewhat but I still think Loopy wins. He's got the edge with the ratings.
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy !!!!!!!

Showing a profit is not part of the competition - the biggest balance wins.
"Showing a profit is not part of the competition - the biggest balance wins" -- quite a shocking statement that...
WTF? Why is it a “shocking” statement? – Or were you just at a loss for words?
Don’t attribute statements I didn’t make to me -
“But Fingers posts stated the he never had any intention To "Would rather sit back and use my R5k to punt and watch my bank balance grow.
I see on another thread you picked 9 out of 18 WINNERS on Sunday. How many of your other 1st choices ran PLACES?
Which method shows the bigger balance – eachway or WIN only? This is the only point I’m making – place betting is for the birds.
As I (did) said – I will have an extra bet on the side that that if you had gone for wins only during the competition, your balance would be bigger than with the eachway method.

Fingers I quoted You on your exact worde used "Showing a profit is not part of the competition - the biggest balance wins"
Jim is quote right I play places nor wins but I stated the Same competition rules taking every race for the month 1 selection R100 wins & places...
1) I do nor play every race
2) I play R1000/R100 wins & places
but I know many People like To have a bet every race hence stating the competition rules.

Tipsters only look at big yards and odds so i allways get a price and only tip my yard to my owners not to punters the guy who wrote the e/mail to winning ways about trainers who say there horses have a chance and when they win say on tv told the owner to have a punt can go f--k himself the owner pays the bills and has the right to know the tote gets the punters money not the owner or the trainer

90 % of Trainers have no idea whether their horses has a chance in a race due to the lack of a proper "ratings system" They have an opinion that often fails...on the other side of the fence the owner punting the horse ends up losing his bet as well as not earning a stake cheque...see it happening every day...a terrible investment to the trainer & sour taste in an industry really needing aid to survive...
Trainer keeps charging his R6k a month regardless...
